Movie night

Hello, friends!

I was going to post last night, but something came up!
Last night my girlfriend got online for a little bit. She had to wake up early but we watched a movie!
It's a little weird, but she was going to watch a movie and I have the DVD of the same movie so we decided to watch it together. We synced it and we were watching the same parts at the same time.

Then, halfway through the movie, my internet died (gotta love my ISP... not). So I paused the movie for a while, then seeing how my ISP wasn't cooperating I decided to finish watching the movie. Then my internet came back, but my ISP's DNS weren't working, so I had to use public ones, but I managed to get online again.
My girlfriend had also paused the movie after a while, so she was only 5 minutes ahead of me.

We really enjoyed this sort of long distance date and we'll probably do this again at some point, but she's still traveling and doesn't know when she'll be able to get online again. She left right after the movie finished (like I said, she had to wake up early), but not before telling me that she loves me very much :)

If anybody has other ideas for long distance dates, things that would sort of work, like watching the movie, then I'd really appreciate it!

  2. Long distance movie watching? You two are so adorable.

  3. You should be romantic and surprise her. Video chat with her and have a candlelit dinner for two type thing. I mean it has its limits seeing as how she would have to make her own food.. but I think she would love it nonetheless.

  8. I wanted to suggest what Zach suggested. Saw it in a movie once, doesn't seem like a bad idea.

  9. Zach's idea for sure. But arrange it and have it so you're kinda candle lit dinner with a laptop, if that makes sense.

  11. I don't think I could deal with a long-distance relationship. The absence would drive me nuts.

  12. Dude, dude....

    Bro...

    Dude...

    Read her a story.

WAIT WAIT WAIT, no seriously read her somethin'~! Just tell her to go get a blanket, snuggle it up while you read her a short story or novella or somethin'.

If you wanna get it hot, read her from some of my favorite literary erotic trash: Anais Nin's "Mount of Venus." Nothin' like old school erotica to get stuff a-goin'...

As suggested by ThingsYouWant, use Skype or if you got unlimited international rates (or a penny a minute) you can do it, y'know?

Duuude, read her somethin' she likes~! Seriously. :D

Or synchronize your dinners...or ORDER dinner for her from where yer at~! Find out any delivery restaurants in her area waitwaitwait, didn't I already suggest this?

I think I suggested that last one already.

  13. Online games are fun. I would recommend Minecraft which is what my girlfriend and I played for a while.

It was nice, exploring a new world together, harvesting resources and building homes out of scratch and leaving little messages for each other.

  15. Do you play any musical instruments? If not, take classes together via webcam! If you do, start playing together!

  16. I would have never thought of that! y'all can also play board games together. Just move their pieces for them on your board and vice verse on the other side for your piece.

  19. What can I say? I can't believe that people can be as faithful to eachother as you 2. You have my best wishes. Watching a movie 'on a distance' seems actually quite romantic. But honestly, I'd still rather watch it together, while sitting next to eachother. 'You can't always get what you want', though.
